Chapman Corporation, headquartered on a 14 acre site in Washington, PA, has been providing American industry as well as commercial and institutional customers with highly- specialized civil, mechanical and electrical construction services for over 60 years.

In addition to our construction skills, we also have fabrication and engineering capabilities. Our customer base consists of clients in the chemical, power, glass, steel, natural gas and other industries throughout the United States.

Chapman is a full-service engineering and contracting firm for numerous industries. It is important to note that Chapman self-performs 95% of this work. Our own labor forces perform disciplines such as ironwork, civil, piping, sheet metal, electrical and refractory. By self-performing these disciplines Chapman has control over scheduling and costing.

The procedures that we follow concerning project management administration vary greatly and depend upon the type, complexity, schedule and size of a project. There are two guidelines which we follow. Chapman assigns a separate project manager skilled in their particular discipline for each area that might be involved on a project whether it is civil, piping, sheet metal or electrical. A lead project manager is assigned to be the sole contact with the owner on multi-discipline projects.

Chapman’s skilled field personnel play a critical part in maintaining high productivity levels on every project. Project managers and superintendents perform a vital role in controlling all aspects of the day-to-day operations at the job site.
