One of our Association Members is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer/Project Manager to join their Pittsburgh, PA based AISC Certified Steel Erection and PCI Certified PreCast Erectors team.
Overview:
This position will require you to perform multiple duties at the direction of the Manager of Engineering. Some of these tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Structural and Miscellaneous Steel / Architectural Blueprint Reading
- Track Project Performance
- Provide Monthly Schedule of Value of Percentage Complete for Billing
- Knowledge of Structural Steel Construction is a Must
- Estimating Skills
- Project Scheduling
- Provide Engineering
- QM/QC Support
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook / Adobe - PDF / Bluebeam
- Knowledge of all Structural Steel Engineering Disciplines (i.e. basic framing, trusses, shoring, critical lift procedures)
- Must be able to Successfully Work with Customers, Contractors, and Co-workers
- Detail Oriented
- Self Starter
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum E.I.T. with Progression Towards Obtaining PE License
- 2 – 5 years of Structural Steel Experience
- 2 – 5 years of Project Management Experience
